Rule #1 Use The Right Platform That Makes Sense For Your Business!
If you run a service business, chances are Pintrest or Instagram is not the right platform for you. Facebook and Google+ should be your platform of choice. Now a restaurant business could use any of the platforms above.
Rule #2 Stop Selling and Start Adding Value.
So your company has established a platform to make your voices heard, NOW WHAT? I’ll be brutally honest, it’s not easy to get a good following of people willing to listen to what you have to say. Especially if you’re consistently trying to sell them your product or service. Service businesses have it tough, Say your a plumber, electrician or even a lawyer. Why would anyone want to follow you on social media?
That’s great you want to give them 10% off their next ______! but, chances are they don’t need that right now. Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t offer your followers discounts, I’m just saying don’t force it on them with every Post or Tweet!
